Re-PETE!!!

First back-to-back win since stats have been kept, and wouldn't you know it would be me. Mr T. In My Pocket has been the inspiration needed to finally bust out in the weekly game, and now moves me up to second place in the overall standings!! A crazy ass game too...lasting like 4 hours. Game didn't finish up until after midnight with me and Ron heads up for a long time with me finally coming out on top. It was becoming so time consuming to keep moving the giant stacks in and out we ended up cutting everything down to having each chip represent 16. Anyway, a chance for a 3peat next week (and a chance at 1st overall, only $60 behind) awaits!

Worst to first baby!

After getting knocked out first last week, I came back this week with a vengeance (and a Mr. T talking keychain). Only had 11 people, but still enjoyable to get a win, especially beating the great John B. in heads-up at the end. Started off slowly getting so many crappy hands, but being patient paid off and I built up a big stack and eventually won out. So as I look at the stats, I'm once again tied with Tony, who obviously fears me.

Highlights of the night involved the players who were no longer in the game searching for studs in the wall to hang up a dartboard by using some little gadget that kept beeping and distracting players.

So yeah, I'm enjoying the victory and T will be back next week.

First game in Stamford and quite a big group. 13 people in total. It probably was a good game, but I got out crazy early so I can't really comment on much of the game. Apparently Tony ended up the winner, with Germ and Troy also finishing in the money. Hopefully we can get this page spread to all the new people so we can get some heated trash-talking going on!

Yeah, I know this is almost a week late by now that I'm posting this. I've been busy. I can't really say much about last week's game as I got out pretty early and my arrogance probably didn't have a good effect on my game. But I did get to wear the crown! Germ ended up winning though, kudos to him. Oh and me and Tony are still tied in the overall standings.
